The Congress Street Bridge in Austin,TX is home to the largest urban population of Mexican free-tailed bats. During summer months these bats fly out from under the bridge by the thousands around dusk. I missed the bats that night,but was able to get this shot from the bridge. I had to wait for a bus so I could get both the upper and lower red tail-light streams. The Texas Capitol building can be seen lit up in the background.
